COVID-19 NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS AND CUSTOMERS

The Ontario government has initiated the gradual reopening of certain shops and businesses in the province, effective Tuesday May 19th 2020.

Please be advised that the services provided at Albert Opticians fall under healthcare services, and that per the College of Opticians of Ontario, and Ontario Public Health, we are still mandated under Directive #2 which restricts services to emergency care only. As such, on Tuesday May 19th, WE WILL REMAIN CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE and continue to monitor the evolution of practice limitations. Please know that when Directive #2 is amended and restrictions are lifted, we will be reopening BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for all services.

Currently, the following are still possible:

1)   REFILLING CONTACT LENS ORDERS – DIRECT SHIPPING TO YOUR ADDRESS

2)   FULFLILLING PENDING EYEGLASS ORDERS, PLACED BEFORE MARCH 2020 – DIRECT SHIPPING TO YOUR ADDRESS

3)   PRESCRIPTION REFILLS (E.G., DROPS) FOR EXISTING OPTOMETRIC PATIENTS (DR. STOKES, DR. NHAN)

Parking

Street parking is generally available on O’Connor, Metcalfe, and Queen. Accessible, underground parking is available at the World Exchange Center. Additional underground parking is available at 240 Sparks St., at the National Arts Center, or at City Hall. Parking at the World Exchange is free during the weekend.

Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome in the dispensary.
